Anointing of the Sick

In the sacrament of Anointing of the Sick, we pray for one's spiritual and physical healing and health. Once referred to as "extreme unction" or the "last rites" and reserved for the final moments of life, the sacrament is now available to all, even those who are not "ill" in the conventional sense of the word.

At Holy Family, we celebrate the sacrament of Anointing on the third Sunday of each month, during our Sunday masses. Please speak with a priest if you desire to celebrate the sacrament of the Anointing outside of these times.
